LaBrae Schools Get Clean Audit |

from "The Review" Nov. 2, 2007 issue author not cited The LaBrae School District received a clean state audit for its finances through fiscal year 2006. The audit report, released by Ohio Auditor of State Mary Taylor, stated that the office noticed no weaknesses in financial reporting, nor did it find any issues of noncompliance with the district's financial statements. The State mandates that the schools have audits conducted. Mrs. Blaney, LaBrae Board of Education President and a member of the finance committee for the board, stated, "We at LaBrae are so fortunate to have Mrs. Jones as our treasurer. She works above and beyond the call of duty. She is meticulous about her record keeping. She is a dedicated and loyal employee of the District and we are thankful for all she does." Mrs. Jones has been with LaBrae schools for 36 years.

WARREN — Leavitt Road between Kibler Toot Road and Risher Road in Warren Township will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, through Friday for a culvert replacement. The recommended detour includes Palmyra and Risher roads. Source: vindy.com |
